Skol, I am sure that Bernanke is a very intelligent guy and I am sure that he knows that he is going down the wrong path but there is nothing he can do about it.

At the moment, they have so much debt that they can hardly keep up with the interest payments of around 0.5%

Just think if they did the right thing and increased interest rates to 5% (10 times what they are paying now) - I don't think there is a printing press that could print fast enough:-)
