good couple of days, page-24

So Budcar1, I have two airlines, similar priced tickets , similar take off times . One has an old interior, charges like a wounded bull for everything from water to whisky, movies to meals.. and one gives you the lot free in a nicer , more comfortable seat . Do I notice the nice smile and better attitude of the steward with little to do except flick a few trays about and fetch a few drinks ( at top dollar. your expense), or do I put up with a steward who has a larger workload and more to do and watch a movie with a glass of wine on the house . . Happy to keep a Qantas steward fetching a few drinks myself . I wouldnt see a member of staff more than a few times per flight . Personal choice, atsute choice. BTW, Qantas will never have the monopoly again ever in Aus. People would look back over a decade at those times rather than acknowledge customers didnt ejoy the rubbish dished out three months ago on a PB flight. Try flying the competiton to PB and VBA and see how much higher the bar is. Stay in the dark ,loyal punters. Do you guys even get a flight discount?? As a previous share holder, I dont remember being rewarded for propping up Richard Bransons hobby, remmber his real passion is self promotion and having fun with your money, not lining your pockets . He is a legend for this, you must admit.
