Why... are you kidding me?? I've been a gold bug for 13 yrs and have followed GATA's work quite closely. They claimed 12-13 yrs ago that the central banks had already lost 1/4 of their gold manipulating gold lower in the 1990s... then they updated that to 50% a few years later. I think the words were "gone forever, never to be recovered"

Gold demand has exploded higher by orders of magnitude since all those years ago... and supply continues to come to market to meet that demand. Yet GATA continues to believe that central banks are somehow feeding a supply gap.

There's only so long they can keep using that excuse before admitting your entire conspiracy model is wrong. That won't happen of course, and we'll be hearing the same old conspiracy stories 20 yrs from now unfortunately, especially when the next bear market comes along.
