Your theory may be right given one trade of 5mil this morning @2.4c. BUT WHAT A LOSS
If the holder waited for 12 months ( From the .02C CR)to avoid 50% CGT
Thats 5mil @ .004c gain = $20k profit still 25% CGT so $15k profit.
If he had earlier sold at .04c, gain was $100k less 50% GST = $50K in the pocket. So he lost $35k by waiting the 12 months.
