chuck, no one could deny the downside of taking drugs, I'm saying as you infer that the cost of prohibition on users and society is absolutely prohibitive. As you quite rightly say it's a US led industry - the anti-drugs war - it has not worked for 50 years, but a lot of officials world wide have built their careers around the pretence of stopping a demon which demonstrably they have failed to stop anyway. Prohibition makes the industry too lucrative and the money that goes to bent officialdom all over the world means that nothing will ever be done about it......
