You miss the point of my post.

The price of copper is determined between demand and supply!!

I dont know if you've follow the residential property market, over the last 12-18 months EVERYONE was saying residential property prices would continue to rise and that China's growth would keep us out of recession!! Everyone now acknowledges that the residential property is FALLING!! China is a communist country, the statistics that are released are increasingly being acknowledged as being misleading (the official Chineese economic growth figure is usually about 8%- this just happens to be the Chinese lucky number!)
Recently, an investigation of Chinese growth figures demonstrated that they did not 'add up' literally. When they analysed the regional national accounts, they didnt add up to the national total!!! In short the Chinese figures are INCREASINGLY being regarded as RUBBER i.e. no one knows what's going on in China, probably not even the Communist Party!!

The fact is the Chinese economy is slowing, probably significantly.The net effect, in conjunction with selling by Hedge Funds, will have to drive the price of copper down. At the very least it will have a major impact on market sentiment for shares which can only see the share price of companies like Ozl fall.
