I have read that bigger players have space in ASX computers that allows super fast trading. This allows them to see your orders coming before they are executed and can guzump you etc.

I placed a sell in a company of 50000 at 24c with a buy sitting already there of an odd 55057 at 24c.
After placing the sell they were gone and my order sat there so I quickly changed it to 24.5 and as quick as I could type the order still sat there with a new buy of 20000 at 24c.
The sale of 55057 was executed in 3 lots of identical times which added to 55057.How unlikely would 3 people sell and the total come to this exact figure.

With previous that point there were 9 trades all day.I can understand coincidences but is this not obviously super fast trading as mentioned above which can manipulate things to the big boys advantage.

How can this not be illegal?
