Hi Towie you overlook that the world was in panic mode due to the GFC. If not for the GFC our position would be even better than it already is. We are the lucky country performing better than nearly all others. Low unemployment and our debt levels are chicken feed compared to other advanced economies and even Peter Costello recently said that our terms of trade are so good that we will be in surplus and quitting debt very quickly.
