I like good watches. i have only one wind up watch given to me as a 10 yr old (late 30's now )by the grandparents, still works never serviced.

My question does anyone know of anyone still making wind up watches????????????
AND quality automatics besides adina (not at ridiculous prices)

this forum can be broken up into
collectors (stick it in its original box) wear it occasionally not like my mate who inherited an early rolex from his grandfather & lost it surfing, fool..
Collectors research, pay the premium from respectable dealers forget ebay, one trip to aisa should cure you of any belief of a bargain

People that want a quality watch to use & maybe pass on or just a reward (some women spend more on fashion in a year)

Show ponies who think people notice or care. like the show desperate housewives only the same inane people notice.

Currently on my arm a discontinued ADINA amphibian automatic
Australian made & owned from the best worldwide quality components, quality at a good price no battery required ever

My fathers 60's seiko automatic still kicking along nicely as well

Depends if you want quality or wank or investment

    decide for yourselves

3gb check out adina better than seiko

As for watches appreciating, i reckon their is better money to be spent on FA stocks who will provide a greater return.

Rolex VS FA stock in the doldrums SP WISE
    I'll take the stock
