Britelite,
Yes you are being hyper sensitive about this whole thing in my views only.
Calling the MD is something that every shareholder is entitled to do. I see my broker is someone that has better knowledge when it comes to the market (after all he watches the screen everyday) so its better to let him talk. I know my broker has had much experience with placements, IPOs, raisings etc... so talking to MDs is apart of his job. After all he charges 1% of transactions so whats the point of using a broker when there is CommSec for like a tenth of the rate.
By going by your words Britelite I guess the whole broking industry would be in jail by now. This would probably include their clients who talk to their brokers. I guess the whole "speculative" market would also be dead.
I guess in your eyes what has transpired is "illegal". I see it as informational research. After all I have worked for over 25 years to have this money today and I know how hard it is to make money. I want to do as much research as I can (in every way possible) before I fork out real money for paper money in the speculation to make more money.
Looking at the company balance sheet and announcements is one way to research, and when I consider purchasing stock I always want an undertanding on the management either through past track record or through what "highlights or BS" they promote. I can see that AQC has good location to infrastructure and the coal is there. However management credibility from their sales tone is a turn off.
My personal call is that the company would need to raise money soon (unless they pull something off).
From your post you are an investment banker Britelite? Can I ask what attracted you to buy AQC? I can see that AQC is not for the faint hearted. Nice to know that an investment banker is a shareholder.
I know a few investment banker friends in my lifetime and all of them are smart cookies. They also have long working hours too.
