re: Ann: RRP: Realm Further Enhances Platinum... I would think that 4.5million ounces is a very sizable deposit even though it inferred.
For a gold mine to have 4.5million ounces at 3.8g/t would have management jumping up and down as company maker.
I realise the extraction of platinum is much harder than gold so maybe the comparison is not accurate.
While we wait for NKP to do a JV partner that is potentially multiple billions of dollars they go and do this ... ust in my views it does not send the right signal.
Fact is that this BFS is delayed for 2 years on the excuse of "optimisation" and pretty much management failure to deliver anything on the timeframe mentioned does not send anykind of positive signs.
$2million for 2.25million ounces = 89cents per ounce inferred.
On the other hand they are looking at a JV partner that could fork out $2billion+ (using the Xstrata deal) for 50% of their crown asset that has 50million ounces. This indicates $160 per ounce.
I don't know what others think but this is not a good deal in my eyes. If Nkwe in "bed" with RRP is one thing but transfering wealth from Nkwe shareholders to RRP shareholders is another thing.
Nkwe does not even get cash for this deal. For $2million expenditure over 2 years ... surely Nkwe could have done this themselves.
