I must say that I believe in climate change ie the climate is ALWAYS changing and has done so for 4.5 billion years. Agree 100%
I am not sure that the Gillard carbon tax is going to have any effect on that. I'm 100% sure that Gillards fraudulent tax will have no effect on anything, except the people that she rips off.
I also believe that the wildly escalating human population is having a drastic effect on the planet. Degradation of wilderness and wild life by human pollution disturbs me greatly. It disturbs me too, but I think you mean it's having a drastic effect on life on the planet, not the planet itself?
I suppose humans can have an effect on the planet in the short term, but imo it's infinitesimal to the planet as a whole.
Everything cycles, species come and go, but I agree the degradation of wilderness and species by humans is a major and immediate problem, but according to the ALP/Greens, it pales into comparison to AGW.
