Ask any decent analyst how to "value" a biotech. "Finger to the breeze" is an approprite tool. Those suggesting the stock price is going to the moon cannot base that claim on any factual analysis either.
Not all directors make the same mistakes as shareholders. However, there are many examples over the years of directors getting it totally wrong. I used BBI one as just one example.
At the time, I bought the BBI preference share (BEPPA) (at 5c) at the same price as the ordinary. I sold BEPPA between 12c and 19c. It eventually went to 40c whilst the directors stock went to 4c and stayed there. I spent weeks explaining to the BBI forum why they should consider swapping their BBI for BEPPA at the same price. Some did and made a motza, some stuck with the Director's play and lost nearly all their capital.
