I take it that some people want to bring the entertainment industry to a standstill. Why not just stop all businesses and industry? (That'd show those socialist, commie, rightist nazi, treehugging, bleeding heart, leftist unionist ALP (and Liberal) greenies what's what!)
The posts here are getting quite ridiculous.
The whole point of taking action now to reduce carbon emissions and switch more quickly to renewable energy, making it much cheaper in the process, is so that we don't have to stop industry, whether it be the entertainment industry or the power generating industry or any other industry.
Deferring the inevitable will just make it more costly down the track (in a couple of years' time).
