Thumbs up from me on this Hoots, ( gee I notice someone is thumbing you down, can't please all the people all of the time I guess) however,I think it is most unlikely for this to occur. What you are asking indirectly is that posters are honest about their agendas for writing particular posts with a particular perspective.

You and I and I'm sure many other people on this thread are fully aware that manipulating a stock occurs on many levels.

One of those levels relates to outlets like Hot Copper, where people post various perspectives to suit various agendas. In fact I am doing it right now, my agenda is to ensure that Cudeco is promoted in a way that highlights the incredible work that has been put in place to ensure that the company is well on track to being a major force in the mining of copper in Australia. My agenda is pretty up front with nothing at all to hide, unfortunately there are others with an agenda that cannot be revealed so honestly. We all know the reasons why they hide their agendas and seek to destabilise the stock, but that's the way it is.

So in short (pardon the expression ) I agree with your idea in theory, just can't see it being put into practice with any honesty.
