What a long winded discusion relating to very little to what I said...
Go back and reread what I was referring to...i.e. explicitly to the underlying "intrinsic valuation" of Galaxy SP, 29th May 2011...verses the "nominal valuation" placed on Galaxy by the vagories of an oversold SP...

You said, "...the intrinsic value of GXY can be measured by: (cash in bank + financing will of investors) divided by (cost per month to run a mine + cost per month to build carbonate plant)...".[sic or not necessarily]

Here the "intrinsic valuation" characteristic considered is the expected cash flow production of Galaxy. Intrinsic value is therefore defined to be the present value of all expected future net cash flows to Galaxy; it is calculated via discounted cash flow valuation. Alternatively, is to view intrinsic value as the value of Galaxy's ongoing operations, as opposed to its accounting based book value, or break-up value. An efficient trader is trying to hence calculate the intrinsic value of a business, and then buy that business when its price is at a heavy discount to its intrinsic value....

As share traders, we are constantly looking for VALUE...where the "contrarian view" with Galaxy [and please NO other share or sector or externality]... dictates it is at or approaching good value compared to its calculated "intrinsic value"...

It is my contention we may be potentially near or at that discounted nominal SP valuation now...time will tell who is right and who is wrong...
