I think what is commonly called the King James translation is one of the great masterpieces of literature. The prose is greater than any other writing I have come across in my short life.
I also believe it has great insight into human psychology but no more.
I believe it will become a quaint piece of literature in time.
The religious say we can't face up to our sin and we can't face up to the fact that this life is all we have and we can't face up to judgement and we don't like what we see.
Sorry but I am quite content with one life with no afterlife and I see a slow but improving world. I don't need to be judged as I am always judging myself perhaps to hashly.
You were given a mind so how about using it. Why do you allow others to tell you what is right or wrong. You must feel very inadequate and unsure of yourself.
