idea would be for the workforce to work half the day, knock off after the pour and then the company can have a ceremony followed by some food and drink for their workforce and the local community Sat PM.

im pretty sure that the chiefs would see it as good juju for the bruini's to mark such a milestone with a feed and some booze for the workforce and local community. particularly given the relative value of 1 gold bar compared to the average yearly income.
