Boiler although I agree that some of the PRR price projections using Dendreons MC are fanciful, you're missing the point with the Prostate/Ovarian comparison. A large proportion of those diagnosed with prostate cancer will be controllable with much cheaper already available therapies, or even not need treating at all. Many, many men die WITH their prostate cancer not of it hence the big discrepancy between diagnoses and deaths, in addition, many men can obtain a surgical cure with robotic assisted surgery and again may not need further treatment.

Ovarian cancer is very different, almost all cases will become advanced and sadly lead to the death of the patient (again look at the proportionate numbers), most women first present to their doctor with incurable disease and so almost all cases could be treated with CVAC.

You also mention orphan drug status, again this just emphasises the fact that there aren't any effective treatments for slowing the progress of ovarian cancer (again different to prostate cancer) and hence a larger market share.

This is all without mentioning the other tumours that CVAC may work on.

If CVAC really is effective (the trials are looking good so far and we all hope it is). Then the Dubai opportunity just gives people a chance to try the therapy from all over the world (why wouldn't you, if I had Ovarian cancer I'd give it a crack given the lack of alternatives) - what the company really need is for patients to have to register when they buy the stuff in Dubai, and then following this cohort gives even more data to support CVAC's use/safety data. It might even be a way to fast track research into other potential cancers.

Final thought - what are the chances of Instos/Sophs dumping into this price rise if it holds 0.33? It looks a very easy 20% profit in uncertain times.
