Apart fron tiny Bluescope steel, none of the iron ore dug up here is for Australian consumption. What we will see is an Australian recession but a booming resource sector (although there will be short term volatility no doubt).
If anything there will be a massive of rotation of money parked in bank shares to flow to mining shares.
