To my understanding the study was on coral ecosystems around natural co2 seeps, which i found was lacking in information so gave an example of what has been found and studied where co2 is bubbling in other areas of the oceans. Are you not interested in knowing the actual pH and co2 levels around the natural volcanic CO2 seeps in Papua New Guinea? Going by the study i posted the pH could be as low as 6.8 in the photo's on aims website which to me is misleading.
