As Australians & voters, however, we should have the guts to act; we should simply boycott food outlets that
provide Halal meat or Halal meat products from these barbaric practices. Once Government sees that we are acting, they too will act.We do not have to be confrontalist about the situation; just let our wallets do the walking.

We are also likely to hear whinging farmers complaining about a loss of income from live animal export bans. The answer is that these exports ought not have happened in the first instance if it is now neccessary to ban them, and the whingers should shut up because they have has a windfall in the interim that they are likely to not refund.
