The Carbon tax will raise around $13 billion a year.
$6 Billion of that will go straight into peoples pockets the rest will be use to develop cleaner energy sources a small percentage will go to the UN.
Remember alot of these companies are exporters so they can not pass their costs onto Australians.
The GST raises $51.3 billion a year.
This tax will not send our entire economy into a tail spin.
We are a country with a GDP of over $1000 Billion a year.
This tax represent around 1% of GDP with nearly all of it going straight back into our economy.
