Fair enough.
The thread started with a reason for Soros altering his gold positions. As a sophisticated investor, I doubt that emotion plays any part in a Soros investment decision, unless you include psychology of the market and him reading the mob's fear and emotion to profit from it.
Emotion is how people lose money.
