It looks like you've read that post on another thread re Dawes and the new acquisition etc. I don't mean to sound gratuitous here, but I think the rest of his post is worth getting the old grey matter around...if those tenements are granted they are going to be an albatross around the neck of GOT.

Look mate, the only shares I hold are with my super- and I always tick the bluechip square there- but wouldn't it be more prudent to wait and see if mapping is approved for their current EL's?

Personally I hope the Blue Mud Bay EL's are approved, the ALC has been puching on "one man gang" as the saying goes up here- and punching on well beyond its weight I'd argue- but the granting of those tenements immediately brings the NLC into play and they are a well resourced and powerful lobby group...and were in fact the defacto opposition in the NT for the twenty years in which Labor was little more than a parliamentary rump.

Maybe its all about the 250k and not the granting of the tenements...but you'd have more of a handle on that than me.
