Here is a typical scenario:

1- You decide to take a punt and risk 10,000$.
2- The price drop and you loose 20% of your investment (2000$ is not a big deal).
3- There is an spp with a tiny discount. Typically 5%. You add another 5000$ to average down and take advantage of the 5% discount...you feel u have advantage because of the 5% discount.
4- The sp goes down another 20% and there ius another spp of 5000$. You send 5000$ to save your investment.
5- The sp goes 50% down and there is another spp. At this point you are do not care and send another 5000$.

6- The sp goes down another 30% when the company announce during the quartly report that they produce less than 10% of what they promised.

7- You look at yourself at the mirror and say: "Geesssssss I ment to risk only 10,000$ and I ended up losing more than 20,000$...I wonder what went wrong!"

8- No point to sell now! Just pray and read HC.
