I personally don't believe you are trying to knock the stock price down to purchase at a lower price because you are waiting for further evidence that the market is huge and therefore the business will grow at a good rate. This practice is what many professional investors do.... wait until the risk is much lower and obviously happy to buy at a higher price.
Appreciate what you have said on the '87 crash and not too proud to open up on a personal level. We all make mistakes even Warren Buffett.
I respect both you and kiril considerably. I feel both you blokes are similar in lots of ways. Passionate about the market, competitive and both clever dudes that have previous runs on the board.
I know both you and kiril respect each others intellect and have communicated many times outside of this forum.
Kiril obviously feels strongly about his view otherwise he wouldn't have posted. So I'm not dismissing what he has said.
He doesn't do an albie....get angry and say the first thing that comes into his head on this forum.
A couple of mates of mine who have spoken to me very recently about this are adamant that you are trying to knock the sp down to purchase lower. They sort of swayed me a bit but when I have the time to think on my own I just don't see it.
I'm not happy that they will not like my post because I feel for them but I must be true to myself.
I just don't believe a poster on a forum can knock down the price in any meaningful way for any sustained length of time. A couple of days.... I would accept that.
I read the KGL, NKP, PEN and HFA threads at different times and I hope both you blokes can patch up your differences.
Good luck to both of you......and let's move on because life is too short !
