Yesterday you said Befesa had 50% of the european market, today its 60%. Based upon their website (the link I posted last night) and the amount of slag they processed in 2009 which is the latest info they provide they did 238,000 tons. I believe that the European market is comparable to the US market and produces around 1m tons of slag and based upon that they are processing 25% of the European slag market.

They said they have capacity to process around 600,000 tons of slag I think it was but that is very different to what they are actually doing.

The obvious questions are then :
1. What is the total slag produced in Europe - definitive answer.
2. What is happening to the slag that Befesa do not process ?

Any answers that are to be taken seriously need links to support the figures, please :)
