Bare in mind the NBN is a bigger spend than the snowy mountains scheme. But at least we knew that building dams will lead to cheaper and more plentiful electricity The same can not be said for the NBN. the Labor government has NEVER demonstrated to the Australian people how exactly this big spend will raise the productivity of the nation.
Same with the Carbon tax. we don't know whether or not it will actually solve the problem of global warming.
