I don't think it has anything to do with that. Even good quality gold stocks are belted and that is the last sector I am expecting not to perform.
The sp is ugly and in these times of bad sentiment to US economy, sovereign issues in EU, higher interest rates here and bad gdp figures, sell first and ask question later is the strategy of the day and the ugly the chart the more aggressive the selling whatever the fundamentals. Will have to let the volatility ride out first I think.
