Thought i would also highlight an exert from one of the other articles above. It is in regards to Mongolia Mining Corps (MMC) recent aquistion of Baruun Naran mine in Mongolia. The project and mine holds 253 million tonnes of measured and indicated coal resources and 193 million tonnes of potential mineable coal.
"MMC will pay approx $464.5 million to $950 million provided that the probable reserves are confirmed within 18 months following the deal, said MMC"
This is a very significant transaction and shows that the sector is heating up significantly. Also shows some good comparisons for AKM as the resource size is similar to that of AKM's. This helps to show what value maybe given to AKM if a transaction like this was to come about, obviously there would be differences in coal quality etc and infastructure. Next few months will be very important to AKM with pivital news due in this time frame.
