The problem is not free gold it's refractory gold. Which is why even if you could increase recovery with knelsons you wouldn't decrease the costs, you'd only increase them.

Perhaps had apex not reversed most of the changes that were made by Agincourt and Oxiana then they too would be achieving the 93% recovery achieved prior to apex. But apex were too smart, they knew without ever operating a plant like wiluna that they could do it better and the rest is history.
