Looking at the QMN's chart shows what the stock is capable of with good news.

Also the fundamentals behind the good news that propelled the SP to 17c in Dec 10 and 15.5c in Feb 11, are still there.

Copper is still over US4/lb. We have reached a historical line of resistance of around 8c mark from last year, and since then there have been 4 different resource announcements or upgrades.

My guess is that uncertainty surrounding global markets have delayed mining plans, but that will pass.

An estimate of only a 15% rise in SP with a JV seems is not historically realistic esp when no regard given to the possible details of the JV -or which of the many tenements it may apply to or would it be for for mining or exploration?

QMN might be stuck in the doldrums (there may be some concern re: the cash position), but with the right announcement, it could fly to several multiples of the current SP.

I'm elated to have bought more QMN at 8.3c today and I think most of the negatives have been priced in.

Just curious, what price are you hoping to buy in at?
