Looking at it that way it does not seem worth the effort.

If I was in that position I would like to think that my family could use the $93k for better things than extending my life for 4 months, the again who knows how you would react/think until you are put in that position.

I was very surprised when I first read how long Provegen extends life.

cVac's early results are a bit better the Provengen, stage three trials on sufferers with a better immune system then those used in stage one trials may prove to be a lot better, lets hope so.

Also I don't understand why the treatment is being used on people with late stage cancer ?
Wouldn't it make more sense to use it as the first line of defense and hit the cancer while the body is still strong and the immune system is strong. I am not a Dr and don't pretend to know anything about this, but from a lay mans prospective, if this stuff works it works, why not use it up front.

Any comments from people who know or understand a bit more than me would be greatly appreciated.
