Or are you so gullible that you think the artwork and stage setup is real. Didn't you think the dollar coin looked a bit big, bright and not quite the right colour? Is that a lie as well? What about the sun. Didn't look real to me. Was that a lie as well?
Perhaps you were disappointed last year when you found out Santa Claus didn't really live at the North Pole any more because the ice melted and he had to move to the moon. You figured someone told you a lie. They didn't really mean to lie. Santa really used to live at the North Pole before it got too hot.
