Hullo MobyT, I don't post on the Science & Medicine Forum anymore, because imo it's been hijacked by AGW Alarmists that pollute the forum with nonsense, and I have no desire to encourage the Alarmist Polluters to further flood that forum with AGW Alarmist nonsense.

Why do you want to debate the lowly educated like me about this, I didn't even finish year 10, and you and certain other Alarmists on HC are self proclaimed academic scientific geniuses and waaay too intelligent for me. Or is that why LOL?
And it wasn't my invitation, it was an open invitation from Andrew Bolt at the end of his show last Sunday.
Andrew Bolt commented on his show on Sunday how difficult it is to get Alarmists to engage in public debate with Skeptics to prove the Skeptics wrong. He invited Professor Tim Flannery, Professor Will Steffen, Greg Combet and Julia Gillard onto the show and they all refused.
Bolt had Professor Bob Carter on the show, who claimed that the refusal by Alarmists to engage in public debate, especially with anybody that is well informed or who might be a scientist at a peer level, is a tactic used by Alarmists because whenever they've made the slip of agreeing to a public debate they lose.
MobyT do you consider yourself well informed? Are you a scientist at a peer level with the likes of Professor Bob Carter, or perhaps Dr. David Evans? Or any other Skeptic scientist for that matter?
Do you have the guts to go on Bolt's show and engage in public debate with your peers - the very Skeptic scientists that you are so quick to discredit here on HC? Is this the invitation you refer to and say you've taken me up on?
If so, fantastic! That's exactly what I want to see.
I want to see a fair dinkum public debate between the Alarmist scientists and the Skeptic scientists. Pleased to see you take up the challenge and are willing to publicly refute the Skeptics claims. I look forward to the debate, you never know, maybe even the lowly educated like myself might be convinced.
But one thing is certain - I'll never be convinced by deceivers and liars like those that came up with the fake "Say Yes" propaganda, in fact all they do is convince me that they're full of POOP. I'm just an Average Joe, and yet there are lots like me who remain unconvinced.
And the harder someone tries to sell me something, the more I refuse to buy it.
Just a little tip for your own benefit though, it might not be a good idea to try and tell a Skeptic scientist that 50C is hotter in 2011 than 50C was in 1939 ;)
