median income means very little, the numbers popularly bandied about discount every individual who doesn't work a fulltime....great huge bunches of thse there are.....
Skewed is good diplomatic way of putting it...although i have forgotten to check lately the true Australian median household gross income is much much nearer to 60k than 100k and even then they still fully discount any with even more lowly forms of income amounts...if included these pull would Median even lower again...by a big degree.
I remain incredulous this last 10 years that this scam of popular/politically assumed income sucks so many in, less that 1 in 10,000 seem to look behind these claims.
IMO without all of the statistics included its just more scam on top of scam, on top of scam, on top of scam....that is the domestic housing market in a nutshell today. Those sucked in during the dead cat bounce of 2010 really should have a mechanism for fair compensation...the government remains complicate as the head racketeer.
