As defensive as my post sounded, I certainly do not work at K-Mart (or Westfarmers for that matter).
I was merely presenting the alternative viewpoint to your post. I am frustrated by simple people who don't understand that you get what you pay for.
And judging by your reply, you still don't get it. You said that "all I wanted was reasonable service" - that is where you're wrong. K-Mart doesn't do ANY service - and their prices reflect this. To expect any service in any form from K-Mart is an unreasonable demand in itself. Consider yourself lucky if you manage to extract more than two words out of K-Mart employees, however don't be annoyed if you can't - because you're getting a bargain.
