i'm pretty much with LOOBS on that....
K-Mart really hasn't changed from day dot - sure it may have reduced the stocklines - i'm really not sure though as it has been many years since i've been in a store, but K-mart to me was always somewhere you went to buy cheap goods where the quality wasn't of any real importance simply purchasing something of need for a very cheap price.
If you where looking to buy things of greater quality you would also be prepared to spend more money for this item & in turn the store chosen would likely offer greater customer service.
It's like going to bottle shop & saying i'd like to buy 12 bottles of wine i have $50 to spend. Or the second person asks the same question but they have $250 to spend. Now who gets thrown the cheapest box of wine they have bang through the register & who gets the sales assistant to walk around for 5-10 minutes suggesting bottles ?
