But surely this is a major issue...ignoring the environmental and cultural issues, in fact THE major issue which is about being competitive in the market place. It concerns the commercial viability of mining mn, which ultimately this is what it's all about for GOT. Isn't it?Or is it possibilty, which in my opinion is what they've really been on about from the go, that GOT is really interested in being bought out by somebody else. Maybe the conspiracy theory blow torch re downramping should be aimed in their direction, as in my opinion the applications for EL's around Blue Mud bay couldn't have been lodged, as a corporate manouvre, with the intent of improving the SP. Another poster referred to that move as committing "corporate suicide 101".

Of course for some share holders its a different issue altogether; it's about receiving good news from the company in the hope the SP will rebound.

But there's no speculation about the TO's position. It seems most posters have agreed on that. For them they see it as avoiding destuction of their Ceremonial life.

I posted what I knew last night about Gemco's activity on their sea based tenements...and you nearly gave me a heart palpitation with your post. Given their written undertaking to the ALC that it would be informed regarding any activity, and the fact that as of around noon when I left that joint, there'd been no notification I assume nothing has changed. Nothing's happening on those tenements at this point in time as far as I know.
