    Inside the BIOTA Facility.
Last Thursday I was one of the lucky few holders who put their name down to do a tour of the biota facility in fact I was the baby of the group at 53 years of age... only 5 people took up the offer of seeing the labs and setup ... we were shown the entire set up quite interesting to see.
I was amazed by the amount of people working in the two buildings...
But the best thing about being on this tour was the opportunity to sit down with DL and ask questions about progress in particular on Lani and HRV.
It pleased me to hear that we might be chasing more funding to get Lani as Prophilaxis...
It was reassuring to see the area to be allocated to Barda project ....it?s happening soon
I asked whether Biota would take Lani all the way to fda approval and market... I think the answer was yes... which is great if I can hold for the long term....but I must admit a good license deal would probably be better , reward us all short term....
But on a more positive side , HRV sounds very promising with big pharma expecting completion of phase II testing, which is likely feb/march 2012 (if all goes well that?s when big Pharma should pick it up)
My money is safe with bta, for now indications are that we might see a boost in relenza sales as rebalancing towards 50/50 relenza /tamiflu comes into play with November starting global stockpile expiry closer.
    Thanks BIOTA
