What the hell, I'm suppose to blame myself for the bad performance of a company after putting in my hard-earned into it?

I put in place directors and executives to manage my company, I'm just here to provide the money to fund my portion of the operations. If the company is not performing I immediately look at the people I've employed to manage the company on my behalf.

Let me see I'll try to blame myself... Here ya go Paul, you say you're gonna start an io company producing at 30+mtpa and build the necessary infrastructure for the project and talk to banks to provide some of the finance for the project, you need money? here ya go Paul, spend it wisely matie. Paul comes back and says things have not gone to plan, they're not producing as much as promised, they're experiencing delays in procuring the necessary materials for infrastructure, and the banks won't touch them; and then Paul says, you know what Legume, it's nothing a little more money can't fix... righteo Paul, here's some more money, spend it wisely.
Where the hell did I go wrong? I provided the money when it was asked for... If Paul can't manage the project as the manager of the project then the blame is on him, he wasn't up to the task, he didn't receive a $2mil+ salary last year to do jack all, the buck stops with him. Everytime I see him I'll give him a spray for mismanaging my company.
