Having walked away from a brief stint in the FP industry in disgust, I simply have no time for the services that FP's offer. I appreciate this is a generalisation however in my experience there is insifficient monitoring of the clients investments, rather it's a "invest the capital in this balanced or assertive fund and then review it twelve months later.
In the short time I was involved in the industry I saw some absolutely disgusting things, needless to say it would have to be a very astute and genuine FP who would be managing my money.
