I have a SPX system which obviously requires a follow it or forget it approach.

In the past 14 months it has generated about 250K for 1 SPX contract.

It is telling me that all things being equal, I need to go long at the US close tonight.

Often the best buy/sell is before the close but I have resisted the temptation to preempt.

A long term trend from 1982 is around 1290 and certainly would tempt me.

This system does not pick every turn exactly, although it often does, so I am not suggesting that tonight is THE low based on this system.
