"Dont be surprised if there is some confidentiality shrouding this hda deal."

I hope that doesn't turn out to be the case, at least to the degree nobody can be certain what the deal means for STI. ARW, another small cap I own, released an ann about a deal, but then refused to disclose details due to confidentiality clauses. Nobody had a clue just how lucrative (or otherwise) the deal was. If the details are too vague, expect it to have little impact on SP.

"If you did your research on JC, i think anyone could easily see there would be many better candidates."

Why didn't anybody make a comment to that effect on this?

Now fair enough perhaps new information has come to light to change your mind, but even so, isn't it a bit harsh to say 'If you did your research on JC'. Maybe angk did, and came to the same conclusion that seemingly you, and everybody else did a mere month ago.

Peter Boonen, managing director, said ?Stirling is indeed fortunate to have the opportunity of securing the services of a new CEO who has proven management skills within the industry and can lead the company in the next phase of business development.?

Was Boonen sloppy with his (preliminary) research as well? Perhaps the board of directors is not giving him the benefit of the doubt that some on this forum are so staunchly encouraging for PB?

Anyway pending this new ann the company may turn a corner in a good way. I understand you're fed up with cautionary posts that rehash known or outdated information, but your information on the CEO appointment just doesn't add up.
