With the harder cases the body's repair mechanism has broken down which leads to the drastic solution of amputation. What I understand VitroGro does is to provide a matrix on which skin cell growth can resume and ultimately replace the ulcerated tissue with healthy skin - with the limb retained.
In less severe cases there remains some natural repair function and it is interesting to speculate whether VitroGro will enhance healing in these circumstances..
Due to financial constraints we have only begun to scratch the surface of of this product's healing capabilities and other uses for safe and effective cell growth. The next couple of years will be very interesting.
