The arithmetic is irrelevant to the point in question.

Keep posting contrarian views Dex, because it makes people think. It is better to have all areas of investment understood, including the weaknesses, rather than be complacent with a dream that may not be reality.

I am a strong supporter of LNC, but there has always been some queries in my mind about the slow development of synthetic deisel, and is there any problems out there that we do not know of. I know the processes are not easy, but it was only recent that the coy first mentioned that CO2 was a problem in the fuel making process. Obviously this is not a problem now for those UCG fields near a pipeline or depleted oil field, in fact it is an asset or product, but what about those say in Australia etc that are not near such infrastructure. How do they handle the CO2 until there is spare UCG holes that have been burnt out to store it in? And why isnt Martin Ferguson championing GTL and the govt discussing fast tracking as part of its carbon solution?

These are some unanswered and logical questions, that until there is answers, leaves that not quite 100% contentment that I would like to have with this investment.

Perhaps some here can positively answer these doubts from their own knowledge. If not, then perhaps I am not the only one who needs to know more.

I have tried to get some answers before, and shall try again thanks to the recent acknowledgement by the coy that CO2 was previously a problem in the process. But previously the coy was not willing to devulge any weaknesses.
