with all due respect bollingerbob - this will never happen and is clearly another short term grabbing headline.

if they switch off those 54 reactors mate they will all suffer from the harsh winter, have no lighting, heating, and any form of basic electricity. all forms of manufacturing will suffer and the country will be brought to a standstill.

to swap to fossil fuels will be too long and too expensive an exercise. use this as an opportunity to do some bargain based uranium stock shopping - PDN, ERA, UNX come to mind.

treat the media just like cordial. it needs to be watered down 90% to be palatable. unfortunately the average person believes what they are fed by the media without their own research.

just like global warming - its all our fault - oh yeah carbon dioxide is a natural part of the environment and 96% of carbon dioxide is naturally produced - the other 4% is man made - any way last time i checked carbon dioxide is needed for plant growth - oh well i could go on and on.....
