    Hi Santoo

I dont know about the previous life of Thermalife, but hte current version seems to work for short term relief of pain.

I havent ever tried votaren cream to get a comparison - I have only used 50mg tablet and cannot use cream as well as it would be an overdose. There are potential side effects with Voltaren (some known and being investigated).

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) said today it was monitoring the use of drugs containing diclofenac, and ibuprofen, following the release of a study showing their impact on the Danish population.

A TGA spokeswoman said that since diclofenac gel is recommended only for short term use in Australia, it was rather unlikely that its use would lead to liver problems. She added that the TGA has had ?only two reports of liver problems with diclofenac gel and none in the last two years.?

There is a reasonable chance that Voltaren may be relisted as a presciption only medication (including the creams).

Thermalife does not have any restrictions on the lenght of use and is not prescription.

This places Thermalife in a good marketing position.
