It was to buy a swag of shares in the 5-6 range, then a bit of selective selling in the high 6s, along with capping orders, xtrades, pulling prop buy orders & who knows what else to create panic and get the price to fall again. Now they're free to buy up again at the same price range. They may also let it drift lower to shake out loose holders.

I say _if_ because we don't/can't know for sure that AYR is being accumulated. Its being played, that's for sure, but to what end?
